Apple Rumor flurries increase

Mac Rumor Insanity

This being my first MacWorld as a Mac-ite, it’s fascinating to watch the rumor flurries increase in intensity. I’ve been perusing rumour sites, but now Reuters, Forbes, and News.com are in on the game.

Now, if the big news guys have any more credibility (which is debatable) than the little rumor guys, you’ve GOT to believe that Apple will being releasing something iPod-like tomorrow in the AM. I’ll be @ Moscone… pictures forthcoming.

HOLLY FUCK HAVE YOU SEEN THE 17″ POWERBOOK? I’M NOT A DORK OR ANYTHING BUT I WANT ONE NOW. JESUS CHRIST.

Actually, I’m not sure how well this’ll do. It’s a bit unusual and pretty enormous.

Safari seems to be the first mass market browser to have popup blocking – am I right? If I ie had this feature the internet would collapse, and by collapse I mean stop being shit.

  5. Keep in mind, the original titanium powerbooks (mine, at least) already can’t get through a DVD of Akira on a full charge with full screen brightness. Full brightness = prettiest picture. I was using headphones, too, not the external speakers. Extra battery = 100something dollars. Luckily, there are more power outlets in airports than you’d think.

    Holy shit, check out http://apple.com/macosx/x11/

    Much better than oroboros X.

Also, the new powerbooks are rather nice. Esp the 12″ one.. I’ve been looking for an apple laptop, being a militant Machead and all. at $1900, it’s as much as my desktop but so much more HURRR.

Also, keynote seems pretty killer, especially with all Apple software becoming more and more integrated. iLife++ too.
