There are three books. One has four editions. Another has two.

Managing Humans was first published in June 2007. While much of the content originated on this weblog, every chapter has been meticulously rewritten and edited. In December 2021, I published the fourth edition of the book, which added eleven new chapters and removed two embarrassing chapters. The glossary is still my favorite part of a new edition.

There’s a promotional website for the book, which is janky but fun.

The Software Developer’s Career Handbook was a reboot of a prior book. It launched in October 2023. I love the bird quite a bit.

Small Things, Done Well was published in June of 2020. Like the prior books, some of the content has already shown up here, but this book is special. There is a full arc and an autobiographical angle that I love.
