Presidential Hopeful Has Weblog

I believe this is the first presidential candidate to have a weblog.

I can’t imagine that mixing Rands in Repose with politics is a good thing, but the guy has a decent platform and I’ve never been more frustrated with the current administration.

[3/28/03 Update]: Gary Hart has a blog, as well. My guess the Republican candidate is unlikely to create one.

    I briefly reviewed Mr. Dean’s positions on various issues, and while I don’t agree with him on several of them (and would not likely vote for him), I appreciate you sharing the link with us. It is the responsibility of every citizen to research each candidate, make educated decisions, and not simply “vote the party line”, IMHO.

    I also appreciate the significance of this candidate establishing the first “CampaignBlog”. It would be very interesting to see if this sets a trend for others to follow…

  2. Thanks for the link. I saw Dean on “Meet the Press” a few weeks ago and was initially impressed with what he had to say. I’ll be keeping an eye on him.
